Annexin V-PE Apoptosis Detection Kit

The Annexin V-PE Apoptosis Detection Kit is according to the observation that most cell types translocate the membrane PS (phospholipid phosphatidylserine) from the inner face of the plasma membrane to the cell surface soon after initiating apoptosis. Using staining with a fluorescent conjugate of Annexin V protein can easily detect PS on the cell surface. Annexin V has a strong natural affinity for PS. The one-step staining procedure needs only 10 minutes. Moreover, the assay can be performed on live cells directly without fixation. The Annexin V-PE Apoptosis Detection Kit includes the bright orange-red PE fluorescent probe that can be easily detected by flow cytometry or fluorescence microscopy.
