Kif15-IN-1
Kif15-IN-1, a potent Kif15 kinesin inhibitor; inhibits cellular proliferation in various tumor cell lines [1].
Kif15,also known as Kinesin-12 and HKLP2, is a motor protein expressed in all cells during mitosis and in postmitotic neurons undergoing axon growth [2]. Kif15 is a kinesin-related protein whose mitotic homologues are believed to crosslink and immobilize spindle microtubules.KIF15 is involved in maintaining bipolar microtubulespindle apparatusin dividing cells and shares redundant functions with KIF11 [3].
